The Niagara Frontier is a unique place of transitory glories and enduring beauty. This photographic essay documents a sense of place as it existed at a particular time. If we look closely, and listen carefully, we may see and hear the wonderful stories of the natural environment and the built environment that is our heritage, our shared legacy. Our purpose here is, first of all, to appreciate. Then, to record, report, and reveal. We hope to inform and inspire efforts of wise stewardship.
